Hello! My name is Cameron (not Carmen, Karen or Cam)…...just Cameron! When I am not working as a full-time Graphic Illustrator, you can find me filling sketch books, map-making or creating surface pattern designs. I grew up in a creative household, shading my dad’s architectural drawings or turning shoeboxes into tiny patterned villages inspired by my mom’s fabric store. Watercolors, paint-by-numbers, and endless DIY projects fueled my love of creativity. After earning an Art degree from Arizona State University, I painted murals, created custom portraits, and eventually moved into graphic design, crafting logos, packaging, posters, and more. With 20+ years of experience and clients from the Upper Peninsula to California, I specialize in bringing ideas to life with creativity, detail, and heart. Why I’m Not on Social Media In a world of constant feeds, algorithms and blindspots, I’ve chosen a quieter approach. You won’t find my work on platforms like Instagram or TikTok. I keep my creative practice independent and authentic, where it can exist outside the pressure of algorithms, trends, and posting schedules. Limiting where my images appear online also helps protect my copyright and reduces the risk of unauthorized use, including scraping for AI training or stealing my designs to be reproduced for profit.
